Join my mailing list and other things that start with "join my..."

Here's an example of a good idea: Join my mailing list. I set it up through reverbnation, but don't let that scare you, you don't have to sign up with them or anything, they just manage my email contacts for music stuff because quite frankly the sticky note I've been storing my mailing list on is seeming a little web 1.0.

Here's the deal with the mailing list: You get access to the free mixtape series, as well as very occasional, very unobtrusive updates if there is something really amazing worth updating about. There will also be other things coming on down the line soon. It requires an email address so that I can send you the links to the music.

Good deal? Great deal.




The "street team" is a new thing for me, and I think you should only join that if you're down for the cause. No disrespect if you just want to sit back and listen, you're still a much loved member of the community. But if you want to help out, join the street team too, it might just pay off...

In other news, I just learned what twitter was, crazy right? I know, I know...

Anyways, as if learning what I just ate for breakfast isn't enough motivation to follow my twitter account, I will be randomly uploading an exclusive track and linking it from my twitter for a limited time every once in a while. The only way to get these songs (which might be outtakes from the mixtapes, remixes, old songs, who knows?) is to be a follower (bad name, twitter) of me on there.
